Ceremonies with Heart
MELBOURNE CELEBRANT
Modern ceremonies. Rich with warmth and humour. Shaped by a celebrant with an instinct for what matters most.
Because the best ceremonies aren’t simply watched. They’re felt.
FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL CELEBRANT
Hi. Congratulations on your engagement!
I’m Kimberley. Melbourne wedding celebrant, storyteller, and the person who’ll happily hug your grandma, fix the rogue lipstick on your cheek, and know exactly when to step aside so your photographer can capture your first kiss.
With 20 years experience in media and live performance, and seven years marrying incredible couples. I want to dive into your beautiful, messy, funny love story, find what's got your heart ablaze then shape it into a ceremony that's genuine, and full of life.

WHY COUPLES CHOSE ONLY LOVE
Couples come to ONLY LOVE because they want to feel understood and supported. They want to be able to relax and trust that their ceremony will capture who they are, what matters most to them, and the feeling they want to share with the people they love most.
If you’re here, chances are you don’t want a ceremony that feels like every other ceremony you’ve sat through. You want something genuine, heartfelt, beautifully written and full of warmth, humour and life — and that’s exactly what we create.
At the heart of ONLY LOVE is storytelling. We deconstruct the formalities, blend romance with humour, and shape every word so your ceremony feels personal, natural and completely your own. Throughout the process, you’ll be guided with care — ideas shared, stories listened to deeply, and every detail refined until it feels just right.
The fun is real, the laughter is genuine, and your guests will feel it too. So when you look back at your photos, you won’t just see how beautiful your ceremony was — you’ll remember how warm, connected and alive it felt.
CULTURAL CEREMONIES
DESIGNING A MODERN INTERFAITH, INTERCULTURAL
OR JEWISH CEREMONY?
Every couple brings their own mix of stories, cultures, beliefs, families and traditions to a wedding ceremony. For some, that means weaving in Jewish rituals or honouring Jewish heritage. For others, it means bringing together two faiths, two cultures, or two very different family expectations.
At Only Love, Kimberley brings a deep understanding of interfaith, intercultural and Jewish ceremonies — helping you create a ceremony that feels meaningful, respectful and completely connected to the two of you.
She’ll help you work out what feels authentic, what needs explaining, what traditions deserve to be honoured, and what can be gently reimagined — so cultural elements aren’t simply “added in”, but woven through with meaning, context and care.

Most people think a celebrant just stands up in front of people for 30 minutes and that’s all there is to it. But, that’s not really the case. When you decide to partner with Only Love, we will spend, on average, 20+ hours on your ceremony;
- We will have meetings (either face to face or via video call).
- We will work collaboratively with you to write your ceremony until we get it spot on.
- We will assist with filling out and lodging all your legal paperwork both before and after your ceremony.
- We offer a rehearsal before the day so you can shake off any pre-ceremony nerves.
- We are available for you via email or phone from the day you book until after you are married.
- On the day, we do everything we possibly can to ensure that you have a day to remember (for all the right reasons).
- With a background in Producing and Entertainment, Kimberley is experienced in effortlessly coordinating with your team so things run seamlessly, and she knows how to work a crowd (large or intimate).
- We arrive ahead of time to ensure everything is set up exactly the way you planned
- Unless the venue has their own sound system, We bring bluetooth compatible battery operated sound gear and wireless mics. -
It breaks my heart a little when I hear this because it’s one of the biggest mistakes made by couples. As costs mount up on a spreadsheet, couples prioritise flowers, outfits and booze neglecting the ONLY thing in their entire day, that actually legitimately makes them married - their celebrant. Later on many couples look back and wish they had opted for someone more vibrant, warmer, engaging, experienced or simply more attuned to their vision so they could have created a ceremony that really reflected them!
I see your ceremony as the heart of your celebration, not just the formality you have to get through, before the celebrations can begin. So, when we decide to collaborate on your celebration, I make a commitment to curate a ceremony that is uniquely yours and I will spend an average of 20+ hours doing that. From our first meeting, to making sure the legal aspects are complete, to the rehearsal, collaborating with your vendors, exploring endless possibilities to make sure your ceremony is perfect, and of course, being with you on the day to ensure your ceremony is nothing short of spectacular.
And when you wake up to a flood of messages from your guests raving about the most wonderful ceremony they’ve ever been to, you’ll know that you made the right choice to invest in the right celebrant, and not the cheap one!

We officiate ceremonies for good humans. We don’t care about race, religion, gender whether you scrunch or fold, or prefer cats over dogs! As far as we’re concerned, as long as it’s respectful, love is love!
We are based in Melbourne, so we do most of our weddings in and around Melbourne, but we travel Australiawide and Overseas to do both legal and non-legal ceremonies (because some people chose to do both on different days).
We would love to hear all about your plans, no matter where they are, and we can discuss how we can make them work.

Absolutely. These are some of our favourite weddings and elopements because we get to take age old traditions and make them relevant to you and the life you are creating with your partner. The beauty of these ceremonies, is that we also make them accessible for people who are not Jewish or who have not had any experience with the Jewish culture.
You can add a little nod to your roots or incorporate a selection of the rituals. We can talk all about them and you can decide what feels right.
Couples frequently request an element of Jewish music is incorporated for blessings to be sung rather than spoken. Vocal Soloist Michelle Duband, who is an incredible vocalist and specialises in Jewish music (both traditional Hebrew and modern contemporary english) is available on request. -
100%. Most people feel exactly the same as you when faced with the prospect of having to put their feelings into words. Depending on what package you chose, I offer Vow Mentorship so that you have the option to have help to create the perfect vows.

For a wedding, Absolutely. The rehearsal is the time when we will run-through what will happen on the day, and everyone involved will have an opportunity to practice doing their part.
For Elopements, Naming Ceremonies and Celebrations of Life; this usually isn’t necessary but can be accommodated if you'd like. -
Hell Yeah you can! I want to make sure that whether it’s whimsical, romantic, rustique, rock-a-billy or contemporary-black-tie, that I am dressed appropriately. I will ask you what you and your bridal party are wearing, to ensure I don’t clash with you, and more importantly, I blend in, so that you two are what everyone remembers about the day.

The answer is YES.
More and more these days, people are opting for a non religious way to celebrate and send-off their loved-one. Whether at a funeral home, a cemetery chapel, or at a sentimental location, we are qualified to officiate your ceremony.
We work with the funeral coordinators, along with you and your family beforehand to craft a script that honours the life of your loved-one, to celebrate their life's journey in the way they would have wanted it.
